Employment Opportunities

Room Attendant

We are seeking hardworking, organized, and self-motivated playroom attendants! We are seeking Full-Time and Part-Time. Our playroom attendant positions can be the best job you have ever had if you are the right person.

The primary responsibility of the position is maintaining and facilitating safe and fun play for large groups of dogs in an open setting. Strong customer service skills are also required, as you will all be interacting with the public. Playroom attendants will be responsible for maintaining control of a large group of open-play dogs in the playroom at all times to ensure a safe environment. You must be able to stand continuously on your feet, showing the dogs attention and care to ensure that you are maintaining a pack leader status in the room. While playroom attendants are trained on the language of dogs, they must be able to actively monitor all health or behavioral issues and address them proactively in a timely and effective manner. This may include giving breaks for time-outs when necessary, but NEVER includes the use of physical force or punishment of a dog. We have a zero-tolerance policy for the mistreatment of animals. Successful team members are aware of their environment at all times and consistently attend to the ever-changing pack environment and special needs of each dog. This position requires a high level of responsibility as we are caring for the lives of animals while monitoring and maintaining a safe environment.

This is a dirty job and HARD work which requires being self-sufficient and the ability to maintain vigil without human interaction for long periods of time. Typical daily cleaning assignments also include sweeping, mopping, taking out the trash, refilling the water cooler, replacing water bowls, and doing laundry. All team members must follow very strict safety and health procedures including the proper handling of dog-safe chemicals. Other daily assignments may include giving dogs baths to company standards and/or nail trims.

Other requirements include:

  • Ability to work cohesively with their team in a respectful and professional manner.

  • Effectively communicates both orally and written.

  • Maintains a positive attitude and demeanor in all aspects of their position including room management and customer service.

  • Maintains consistent time and attendance standards and dress code at all times.

  • Takes their own development as a personal responsibility and use mistakes or challenges as an opportunity to grow to a higher standard of performance.
